Cabonne has two defined Heritage Precincts, Gaskill Street Canowindra and Bank Street Molong. Any development work in these areas is subject to heritage controls. Council has a consultant heritage advisor who visits the shire on the first Friday of the month, each month. Further information can be found under 'heritage issues'.
