Cabonne residents and ratepayers will also vote on a referendum question when they go to the polls for the council election on September 9.
Electors will be asked to decide whether the council reduces its councillor numbers from 12 to nine for the council’s next term in three years’ time.
Eligible voters must vote YES if they support or NO if they oppose the question.
If the referendum question is passed, the reduction in councillor numbers will take effect from the Local Government elections in 2020.
Voters will receive the referendum question along with their ballot papers for next month’s Cabonne Council ballot where they will be asked to select the new 12-person council, which will serve from 2017 to 2020.
