Australia Day 2019 Events

The focus will be on Aussie entertainment , barbecues and fun in the sun as activities are held throughout the shire later this month.

A full day of celebrations are planned for Saturday the 26th of January 2019, starting at 8am with breakfasts at several villages, continuing with lunches and fun by the pool during the day, and wrapping up with picnics and barbecue dinners in the evening.

Cabonne's Australia Day Ambassador, founder and managing director of The Footpath Library, Sarah Garnett, will participate in ceremonies at Cumnock, Molong and Eugowra, where Citizens, Young Citizens and Community Groups of the Year will be announced.

Australia Day will also be celebrated in Borenore, Cargo, Canowindra, Cudal, Manildra, Mullion Creek and Yeoval.
