Orange360 is the official regional tourism and destination marketing organisation for the greater Orange Region, operating as a joint initiative of Orange City Council, Cabonne Council and Blayney Shire Council. Its core purpose is to promote the region as a high-quality, year-round destination by driving sustainable visitation, supporting tourism and hospitality businesses, and strengthening the regional economy through coordinated brand marketing, industry development and advocacy.

Orange360 delivers destination marketing campaigns, manages the region’s primary digital tourism platform orange360.com.au, supports major events and festivals, and works closely with local operators to showcase the region’s food, wine, nature, culture and experiences. By presenting the area under a unified regional brand, Orange360 helps amplify the visibility and competitiveness of individual towns and businesses while encouraging longer stays and repeat visitation across the region.

The Cabonne region, located in Central West NSW and surrounding the City of Orange, is a key part of this collective destination. Covering approximately 6,000 square kilometres, Cabonne Shire includes a network of rural villages and towns such as Molong, Canowindra, Eugowra, Cargo, Cudal, Cumnock, Manildra and Yeoval. The region is known as “Australia’s Food Basket” due to its strong agricultural base and diverse production, including livestock, grains, horticulture, wine and food manufacturing.

Agriculture is the dominant industry in Cabonne, supported by manufacturing, mining and food processing, with tourism playing a growing role in economic diversification. The region is internationally recognised for attractions such as Ophir, the site of Australia’s first gold rush, Canowindra’s fossil discoveries and hot air ballooning, and its scenic landscapes, heritage villages and food and wine experiences. Cabonne also forms part of the Orange and Cowra wine regions, contributing to the area’s reputation for premium cool- and warm-climate wines.

Through its partnership with Cabonne Council, Orange360 ensures Cabonne’s towns, events and experiences are integrated into broader regional tourism campaigns. This collaboration helps position Cabonne as both a destination in its own right and an essential part of the greater Orange Region, supporting economic resilience, community vitality and long-term regional growth
