Event Sponsorship Program

Cabonne Council is committed to supporting development, growth and sustainability of local events. We understand that events play an important role in our community, providing a diverse range of vibrant experiences contributing to the region's social cohesiveness and wellbeing.

Our Event Sponsorship Program offers funding from $5000 to $20,000 to support community and tourism events across all towns and villages in the Cabonne region.

It’s designed to make applying easy for everyone - from first-time organisers to experienced event teams - with funding to match any event size, scale and goals.

  There are three tiers:

  • Council Cost Support - up to $5,000
  • Event Support - up to $5,000
  • Event Sponsorship - from $5,000 to $20,000

While applications are open all year round, applications are assessed quarterly to align with Council's Community, Culture and Economy Committee. Please ensure your event date falls within the application and council meeting dates.
