Floodplain Management

Cabonne Council has engaged consultants to undertake a review and update of the Molong Flood Study and Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan

Overgrown Residential Land

Property owners are responsible for ensuring that their property is maintained. This means keeping properties free of long grass and vegetation, as well as waste.
Problems between neighbours about overgrown premises are generally matters to be resolved between the owners. Often people are unaware that their activity or lack of property maintenance is causing a problem to others.

Trees & Shrubs

Rules for tree removal on council reserve.

Weed Biosecurity

From 1 July 2017 the Biosecurity Act 2015 and its subordinates came into effect replacing all or part of 14 Acts including the Noxious Weeds Act 1993.

Wood Heaters

Cabonne Council allows the installation and operation of wood heaters provided there is a S68 Part F approval under the Local Government Act 1993 No 30 and they meet Australian manufacturing and operating standards.
