Almost $6 million is being invested to deliver a stronger, more resilient water supply for Molong, Cumnock and Yeoval.
The Molong Water Security Pipeline Project, jointly funded by the Australian Government’s National Water Grid Fund and Cabonne Council, will replace a century-old pipeline that loses nearly 20% of water annually, ensuring reliable supply for more than 3,000 residents.
Construction is expected to start April 2026 and finish early 2027.
In addition to the new pipeline, the Australian Government has also committed $562,000 through the National Water Grid Fund to develop the Central Tablelands Regional Water Supply preliminary business case.
