Twelve-hour Dance at Canowindra

Canowindra is preparing for a lively day of music and movement as a 12-hour New Vogue dance event returns this June.

Organised by local dance enthusiasts Gail Davis and Graham Aylen, the event promises continuous live music and social dancing, bringing together participants from across the region and beyond. Dancers are expected to travel from Dubbo, Victoria, Port Macquarie, the Central Coast, South Coast and the ACT, making it a vibrant regional gathering.

Live music will feature throughout the day, with MC Doug Moorby keeping the energy going during short breaks with a selection of recorded tracks, ensuring there is always something on the dance floor for all skill levels.

The event offers more than just dancing, providing a valuable opportunity for social connection, community engagement and a boost to local businesses. Visitors can enjoy a full day of entertainment for $25 per person, which includes morning tea, afternoon tea and supper.

The 12-hour New Vogue dance will be held at the Canowindra Services Club Hall on Sunday, 21 June 2026, from 10am to 10pm
