Cumnock Community Family Fun Day 2026

Next date: Saturday, 17 October 2026 | 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM

Now in its fifth year, the Cumnock Family Fun Day is preparing to return to the town's oval, offering families a day filled with activities, entertainment and community spirit.

The event has become a fixture on Cumnock's calendar, consistently attracting around 1,000 attendees each year. Visitors are encouraged to follow the Animals on Bikes Trail, enjoy everything the township has to offer, stay overnight at the showground and make a weekend of their visit to Cumnock.

This year's event will feature a mechanical bull, Cobb & Co coach rides, a jumping castle and a new inflatable obstacle course. There will also be cupcake decorating, rock painting, face painting and mermaid braiding, alongside a range of children's activities delivered by local businesses and community groups.

The Cumnock P&C Association will run a barbecue, while Orange Veterinary Hospital will return with its popular veterinary-themed activities and information stall.

Around 25 market and food stalls are expected, providing visitors with plenty of opportunities to browse local products and enjoy a variety of food offerings. Live music will also be on offer, with Neil Gill returning to perform after previously entertaining crowds at the event.

The Cumnock Family Fun Day will be held at the Cumnock Oval on Saturday, 17 October.
