Mount Canobolas Access Roads Closed Until Further Notice

UPDATE June 7: Access roads to Mount Canobolas will remain closed today and will be inspected over the long weekend. It will be reopened to the public when the road is deemed safe by Council staff.

Cabonne Council wishes to advise that access roads to Mount Canobolas have been closed today, Monday the 3rd of June, at 12:30 PM due to snow and ice. According to the weather forecast, snow is expected down to 800 metres this evening, so inspections will be carried out at 9:00 AM tomorrow, the 4th of June, to see if the roads are safe to open.

Council will keep you updated with any further developments.
