The work will include asphalting to repair and replace damaged road surfaces at two locations:
The intersection of Tilga and Ferguson Street,
Tilga Street between Newton and Gaskill Street
The works will be undertaken between the hours of 7pm and 5am for two weeks from Thursday 29 June. The work is expected to be complete in eight nights, weather permitting.
The work will involve the use of machinery which generates some noise. Workers will make every effort to minimise noise by completing noisier activities earlier in the evening and turning off machinery and vehicles when not in use.
Single lane closures and a 40km/h speed limit will be in place for the duration of works, both during and outside work hours, which may affect travel times.
Ferguson Street will be closed during work hours between Waddell Street and Tilga Street. Resident access will be maintained via Waddell Street.
Tilga Street will be closed during work hours between Finn Street and Ferguson Street. Resident access will be maintained via Finn Street.
Please keep to speed limits and follow the direction of traffic controllers and signs.
