Addition community drop-in sesssion to be held in Molong

An additional community drop-in session will be held in Molong next week to seek residents’ views on a Local Strategic Planning Statement (LSPS) being prepared by Cabonne Council.

The drop-in session will be held from 4.30pm-6pm next Wednesday (13 November 2019) outside Spar Supermarket in Bank Street.

The LSPS will set out a 20-year vision across Cabonne Shire outlining how growth and change will be managed. It will identify the unique characteristics of Cabonne and set the economic, social, and environmental land use direction for the Shire.

Community input received at the drop-in sessions will be used to help develop the planning priorities, direction and actions for the Local Strategic Planning Statement.

The LSPS will work in conjunction with Council’s Local Environmental Plan and Community Strategic Plan as well as the NSW Governments Central West and Orana Regional Plan at a local level.
