Essential Energy cancels planned Molong power outage

A power outage planned for Molong on Sunday (22 March 2020) has been cancelled after Essential Energy after Essential Energy this morning enacted its Pandemic Management Plan in response to the coronavirus crisis.

The outage was planned to enable an electricity upgrade at the Molong Recreation Ground.

In response to the coronavirus situation, Essential Energy has enacted some specific control measures for our frontline staff, office-based workers and across the network.

To help minimise the impact and spread of COVID-19, Essential Energy is suspending all planned outages today (Wednesday 18 March 2020) until Friday, 17 April 2020. There may be further changes beyond these dates as this pandemic progresses.

Cabonne Council will keep the Molong community informed when a planned outage may be rescheduled to undertake the work at the Molong Recreation Ground and how this may affect residents.
