Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival 2024

Join us in Molong, Yeoval, Orange, Cargo, Borenore, Stuart Town, and more, for a week of bush poetry events for the annual Banjo Paterson Australian Poetry Festival in February 2024.

Banjo Paterson was born in Orange on 17 February 1864 and what more fitting way to celebrate than to gather the best bush poets from across Australia in competition, entertainment and storytelling.

The festival runs from Saturday 17 February 2024 to Sunday 25 February 2024 and features many FREE events with no booking required.

The week features poetry brawls, performances, book launches, feasts, workshops, competitions, the national poetry championships, markets, and more!
