Seniors and Children Playgroup - Canowindra

Cabonne Family Day Care and Cabonne Home Support have joined together to hold a playgroup session for seniors and children to come together for a morning of fun.

Activities for the morning include reading books, making music, puzzle drawing and interacting with each other. 

Activities such as this are beneficial for both groups, allowing them the opportunity to build relationships and maintain connections with their community.

Due to the amazing emotional and mental benefits of intergenerational friendships for both seniors and children, Cabonne Council are running these sessions once a month. 

Co-ordinators would love to see more participants. If you are a senior and interested in joining a future group session, please contact Cabonne Home Support on 6344 1199. If you are a parent with children interested in attending playgroup, call Cabonne Family Day Care on 6362 3219.
