Acacia String Quartet in Canowindra
The Acacia string Quartet, comprising two violins, viola and cello, was formed in Sydney years ago. Members Stefan Duwe and Lisa Stewart, moved from Sydney to Canowindra about two years ago and now teach at Orange Regional Conservatorium.
Canowindra Fine Music Inc. have been helping to organise and promote an upcoming concert by Acacia Quartet to be held at All Saints Church on Sunday, 7th May at 3pm.
The concert will feature compositions by: Alice Chance (Australian) – Precious Colours; Ludwig van Beethoven – String Quartet No. 10, Op. 74 ‘Harp’ and Franz Schubert – String Quartet No. 14, D801 ‘Death and The Maiden’
