Emergency Information

Remember to always drive to the conditions and obey road signage. If you see a road closed sign, there is always a reason for it, such as flooding, road works or a safety hazard (that you may not even be able to see), such as a culvert failure.

People who disobey signage are not only putting themselves at risk and the safety of their passengers but also police and emergency services officers. If you have an accident on a closed road, you will void your car insurance. Please obey all signage and use an alternate route.

In life threatening emergencies, call 000 (triple zero) immediately. If you require rescue, assistance to evacuate, or other emergency help, ring NSW SES on 132 500.
⚠️ Stay out of rising water, seek refuge in the highest available place.
⚠️ Prevent damage to your vehicle. Move it under cover, away from areas likely to flood.
⚠️ Stay out of fast-flowing creeks and storm drains.
⚠️ Never drive, ride or walk through flood water. Flood water can be deceptive and dangerous.
