Planned Power Outages in Cumnock and Cudal – October 2025

Essential Energy has scheduled planned maintenance works that will result in temporary power outages in Cumnock and Cudal during October.

Cumnock Outage – Wednesday, 15 October

Power will be interrupted from 9:00am to 3:30pm on Wednesday, 15 October 2025.
Residents are advised that this outage may trigger sewer pod alarms. If an alarm sounds, it can be silenced by pressing the silence button located at the bottom of the system. The system will take approximately one hour to reset. If the alarm light remains on after this time, please contact Cabonne Council on (02) 6392 3234.

Additionally, the Cumnock Pool will be closed to Unsupervised Pools Program pass holders for the day. The gate requires electricity to operate and will remain closed until power is restored and sufficient charging has occurred.

Cudal Outage – Sunday, 19 October

Power will be interrupted from 9:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday, 19 October 2025.
As with Cumnock, sewer pod alarms may be triggered. Residents can silence the alarm using the button at the bottom of the system, with a reset time of approximately one hour. If issues persist, contact Cabonne Council on (02) 6392 3234.

The Cudal Pool will also be closed to Unsupervised Pools Program pass holders all day Sunday, and access may not be restored until mid-Monday morning, depending on power restoration and gate charging.
