Information for Families
How do I enrol my child?
Step 1: Contact the service to be placed on the waitling list. The service can then match your requested days with vacancies and forward you to an appropriate educator, if any are available.
Step 2: Contact educator and organise a time to meet them and see their environment
Step 3: Once you have confirmed you spot with educator, you will then contact the service to be sent an online enrolment form and book a enrolment interview
Step 4: Complete enrolment interview, enrolment paperwork and pay enrolment fee
Step 5: Confirm enrolment on your online Centrelink account. You are now ready to commence care.
How much does Family Day Care cost?
There is a $50 New Family Enrolment Fee charged before commencing care. This fee will be collected during the Enrolment Interview, or you will be invoiced for it.
Educators work under a deregulated fee system where, as service operators, they set their own fees according to the services provided. Educators set hourly rates and a minimum hours per day.
You may be eligible to claim Child Care Subsidy to reduce your daily fee. To find out if are eligible, please contact the Family Assistance Office on 136 150.
