Cabonne Mayor in Canowindra for Community Catchup

Cabonne Mayor Kevin Beatty will visit Canowindra this month to meet with residents and community groups about any issues they may wish to discuss.

Cr Beatty will be available at the Canowindra Library on Friday, 22 July 2022 between 10am and 1pm.

“We understand that residents of Canowindra and the surrounding areas may wish to speak directly with Council and the Mayor, but don’t always have the time or transport to attend a meeting at Council’s office in Molong,” Cr Beatty said.

“It is important to us that everyone has the chance to talk to us about issues or matters that concern them.”

After the last few meetings being postponed due to COVID-19, Council is pleased to offer these one-on-one meetings again. Similar meetings will be conducted next year.

Cr Beatty said he was very pleased with the response of requests to meet with him in the past and wanted to give members of the community another opportunity to discuss any issues.

Residents or community groups wishing to speak the Mayor should book a time by calling the General Manager’s Personal Assistant on 6392 3208.
