Due to the improvement in the Molong water supply due to the recent rainfall events, Council is in a position to finalise the ongoing water supply upgrades in the villages of Cumnock and Yeoval.

Over the next 6 months, Council will be undertaking works around the villages of Cumnock and Yeoval which includes:

  • Water main cleaning
  • On-property works to change over houses from their current water supply to the treated water supply
  • Commissioning the system

It should be noted that the internal works are not mandatory however, in accordance with the NSW Health Guidelines, they are highly recommended. Therefore, Council is willing to undertake this work at no cost to the Property Owner.

Council will be holding a drop-in session in the main street area in Yeoval on 28 October 2020 and Cumnock on 29 October 2020 from 3pm to 6pm, where Council staff will be available to answer any queries relating to the Policy or the project as a whole.

If you are unable to make it to either of these sessions, please do not hesitate to contact Council’s Project Engineer Mr Ray Graham on 6390 7100 to arrange an appointment at a more suitable time.
