As part of Councils water security planning for the town of Molong, a water bore has been commissioned at the rear of the Council Works Depot in Molong St.

In the next few weeks, works will commence on connecting this bore to the Water Treatment Plant in Park St. This will involve installing new pipework along the route indicated in the below map. The pipework will run along the nature strip where possible, however will involve some road crossings and temporary road closures.

Unfortunately this will create some short term inconveniences to residents and road users during the construction phase. In some cases on street parking will be affected.

Council’s Contractor TWS, in conjunction with Council, will be keeping in regular communication with affected residents as work progresses.

It is anticipated when works start they will take approximately 12 weeks.

Council apologises in advance for the inconveniences that will occur, however we will endeavour to keep you informed as much as is practicable throughout the project.

If you have any queries on the project please do not hesitate to Contact Council’s Project Engineer Mr Ray Graham in Council’s Infrastructure Team on 6392 3200.
