As the region prepares for the possibility of more snow falls, Cabonne Council staff are working to remove a number of fallen trees on the access roads to Mount Canobolas.
Access to the mountain remains closed at the Mountain Tea House and the gate at the top of Old Canobolas Road.
Fallen trees are blocking the road in several locations and will have to be cleared before Council staff can assess the snow and ice conditions near the summit.
Meanwhile, the Bureau of Meteorology has predicted that Mount Canobolas could receive more snow today (Monday 19 August 2019), with falls possible as low as 700 metres above sea level.
