Paytens Bridge to be closed during RMS maintenance work

Paytens Bridge at Eugowra will be closed for up to a fortnight late next month while Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) undertake scheduled maintenance works.

Although the maintenance work will take almost two months to complete, the bridge will be fully closed from Monday 30 September 2019 until Sunday 13 October 2019, which incorporates the October school holidays and the October long weekend.

Detours will be in place via Gooloogong during the bridge closure and variable message boards will inform drivers of the changed traffic conditions. When this phase of the work is finished, the bridge will reopen under traffic control until the project is completed.

The maintenance work will start on 2 September 2019 and is expected to be completed by 25 October 2019.
